Broken thread, please help

I broke the thread from the central axis, of the crank, when I was trying to screw the bolt. I supose it can be fixed, and rearranged. Any tips, how can I make the accurate thread again?

Take it to your best local shop, they should be able to recut the thread.

If the re-treathing doesn`t work quite well, you can try to fill it up with loctite, and hope the best

You can also get threadless bottom brackets.

The (supposed) best one is the Velo Orange Grand Cru.

i went to a bike center, with a thread tool, it was easy.
very good to know there's a threadless bottom bracket
