Hi all
I have a marin bear valley and wasnt sure what to do with it, i got it of a teacher who used it for about 8 years, when he replaced it he was gonna skip it so i asked and he gave it to me. Ive stripped it a bit and found the serial numbers have been filed off, so its had a dicky past as he said he bought it from a second hand shop. It has a 1 1/8 head tube and came with chrome forks so im not sure of its age. It is however in good nick with only surface rust that comes off with wire wool, now what to do with it? ideas

Mark

Good luck with this project fella, a bear valley was the first propper bike i owned and i want another for my collection.
Looking forward to seeing some progress on this

Nice. If you want some inspiration look up WD Pros on here. Lovely.

In that condition it only looks like paint that's bad. I'd powdercoat it and get it built as cheap as you can. Then build it as you'll use it most, if you have other projects on the go why not singlespeed it? Cheap and easy.
