The glass is a hefty item.. managed to survive shipping from the US and we've moved house 3 or 4 times since I bought it too.. which is nothing short of a miracle - and the reason it's now retired 
That's my 2nd Mintring, the first wore out while in use on a set of keys.. this one is unused and lives in a JD shot glass..
I was going to take him with me when I got my Mintatoo done but Jo kindly painted me a little Zen Mint so I took that instead. I'm certain it made the tattoo chaps job a whole lot easier..
