No point. They're just fun and stupidly expensive now - but half what they cost when new...

Hang on a minute, that sounds strangley familiar...

I had one for a year, and beside the Jedi knight sword noise when riding (some people say the guitar noise), the traction, comfort and ... hmmm... nice modern cosmetic of the wheel were fabulous equipment.

At a time when composite was not yet that common, its pricy position was giving this beautiful piece of craftmanship a certain classy and top of the range image to its rider.

I bought a mint state white one (more rare) two months ago. :D

Didn't you buy one recently?

I have one and love it - want another though.. a blue one methinks

Mayyyybe.

Not sure if I'm gonna use it though. NOS ones must be getting rarer now. Might keep it for 'Garage Queen' use but keep it all untensioned and unridden. Never know, might supplement my pension with it one day the way things are going (both with pensions, and the continuing rise of old bike bits...).

A knackered old one might look good on the S-Works though, but would have to be used so that I didn't mind riding it...!

Maybe a clear one...
umm...!
