i think it is a 1991 and completely original except for the stem, that was replaced when new by the girvin

Nice. Same as mine then just mine is the common pearl and grey whereas yours is red.

Looks nice and tidy though. Should scrub up nicely. Any plans for it? Or is it a quick clean and regrease and ride away?

Actually it is bright pink and not red.
The camera from my iPhone sucks big time

I am going to clean it, put new cables on and then use it for normal riding in Amsterdam
I always liked these frames bitd

Another lovely alpinestars on the site, they're taking over! Always liked the LX version, really bright these in the flesh. Only thing I didn't like about them is they got 400LX groupsets in 1991 and 500LX in 1992, really they deserved the Deore LX set.
