I know nothing about road bikes, but this came up for sale locally. Alas I wasn't quick enough to snag this beauty, but I guess it's for the better since I really can't add anymore bikes to the collection. Thought I'd share the pics.

Interesting, would've been a good snag esp for a RM fan.

A quick look through our own archive reveals this to be a 1987 or earlier Team Giro > http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/mai ... emId=15373 since it's built from Columbus. A lot of (or all??) the RM in house stuff was welded up at this point by Derek Bailey, apparently from the UK.

this frame was built by him, it also mentions it on the top tube in the picture :D
