1997 Rocky Mountain Element Race - Updated 22/3/10

Updated spec and pictures added to the first post.

Regards the ride of this thing. The basic design of the frame is perfectly functional and there is no play in any of the pivots. 8sp XT stuff is all pretty faultless and the weight is sensible at around 26lb. With the slightly shorter, more upright riding position it's well mannered. Alas the bike is really let down by the suspension at both ends. I'm speaking to BETD about getting a modern air rear shock fitted (as I happen to have an RS Ario 2.R in the correct length), if that's possible I'm going to ditch the Indy too.
