That is a really good looking bike. Forks suit it so well.

Chainset looks a lot better than Altus you know ;)
 
those are not Altus chainrings BTW - they were from a DX chainset. Altus ones were steel

I still have the original seat which is date stamped 1992 so prob for the '93 season.

Anyway, without giving too much away, this is what it started out as and after many hours work, I couldnt find the love for it so moved it on.

I think the only original part left on Crud's bike is the seatclamp...

As a kid I always thought the original Saracen suspension forks looked ace! Do you still have them?
