please dont judge me cos my first bike was a raleigh,she had a smattering of m900 xtr (mechs and cantis),campag thorr rims,some deore 2 stuff (brake levers),mk.1 flexstem,white porcs(2 rides worth!),colour co-ordinated toe-clips(!).she got stolen in '93.

I think that Raleigh's quite cool.
Like the Klein esque paintjob. 'Cept it was probably pre 1990 Klein was it? (- Clearly as the title says '89! )In which case maybe Klein ripped off Raleigh?
The gorgeous '88 Stumpy in green/ pink had a Universal or Carrera or something that copied it the next year. Same colours but a bit darker.
