Not really retro but I got it from here so I thought I'd post the finished example.

This is the bike I got last year from Elev12k via Sithlord. I wanted a "modern" bike in my fleet and as this was my first roadie it was the one to get the treatment.

Spec is Ultegra SL (because I like the colour) - It has 105 shifters though to keep the cost down, the wheels are Mavic Ksyrium Elites

Full Spec:
Frame: Gazelle Superbe Handbuilt with Columbus Foco triple-butted tubing
Serial Number TVM008
Forks: Gazelle Alu/Carbon
wheels: Mavic Ksyrium Elite
brakes: Shimano Ultegra SL
cranks: Ultegra SL Double 53/39 Hollowtech
bottom bracket: Shimano Ultegra SL
rear mech: Shimano Ultegra SL
front mech: Shimano Ultegra SL
shifters: Shimano 105 10speed - Double Front
cables: Shimano Durace
tyres: Specialized Mondo Slicks 23mm
pedals: Time Mid, Gazelle pantographed - with cleats
bars: Syntace - 42cm width
stem: Kronos 1 inch quill stem.
headset: Shimano Ultegra 600 1 inch threaded
cassette: Shimano Ultegra 25-12
chain: Shimano Ultegra
bar tape: Ritchey Logic
seat: Selle Italia Turbomatic Saddle

I haven't done more than a few test rides yet so saddle and bar position still need some tweeking, I might need a slightly longer stem too but I'll give that a week or 2.

Hope you like it.

Looks great

You've done a really good build there. Bet it rides as good as it looks.
We need a macretro road ride ;)

I was meant to do the Etape C this year but it is the day after 10 under the Ben, Next year we should be hard and just do both :)
