Hello and a question

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this or any other forum.
I've stripped my bike down for a bit of a spring clean, thought you might like to see a picture. I think the frame is from around 1978-9, it was originally classic Benotto colours but it had a makeover some years ago. You may notice the brand new, unused set of Modolo Speedys in the photo. My question is...are there are any other Modolo fans out there who have solved the problem of replacement brake pads? I'd rather use a modern rubber compound but would dearly like to retain the original holders. Is there anything out there that's a perfect fit, perhaps with a bit of trimming or shaping? Will post more pics of the bike when it's built up and sparkling clean.
Cheers,
Bruno

I had these brakes back in the day and found the leathery blocks to have no stopping power. Managed to cut traditional black campag blocks to fit. you just need to shape the leading edge to a curve, the sliding bit was the same shape.
