1989 Cannondale M900 'Red Shred' - FINISHED!

I've used a bit of a barrel adjuster as a cable stop on mine in the past. Dunno what it was from originally, found it in the dusty box of crap.

Thanks mate, not a bad plan.... Ive considered using a barrel adjuster from an old roadie brake but I don't really want to compromise on this if I can help it.......! I've not given up hope of finding one yet!

Finally done.......

bloody hell that looks outstanding, you must be over the moon with the end result! and before anyone else says it,your front qr is on the wrong side ;)

Thanks mate! I'm so happy with it, i've been dreaming of riding this bike since 1989 so the first ride was amazing!

Thanks for pointing out the skewer mate, I've got it on that way because the only part of the bike i'm not happy with is the nut on the end of it! Its a bit corroded....... must find a new one!!
