SUPER GRIFTER ! camp site retro cool - summer cruzer

BENDYCAT ELEVENTEEN

Senior Retro Guru
Bought it from a guy, that saw a sign i had up at a carboot, asking for bmx's Grifter's and chopper's

went round his house and out in the shed was a Super Grifter - said his kids had been riding around on it since they moved there a couple of years ago, it was left in the shed by the previous owner

got it home and it sat for about 2 years - now I'm moving house and sorting out a few bit - cleaned my other mk1 fiery red and have just finshed clean the SG

well it looked ok when i got it - so i gave it a good wash and then a quick polish - this has been nothing more then MR SHEEN polish to bring up the paint
some of the chrome parts need sorting but looks ok on parts - i have not touch the surface rust yet - snake belly's have a few cracks in them, but hold air and once inflated you can't see much - just a bit of tire shine on them after

well here is my Super Grifter Survivor - no parts changed - lights added - but just a wash/polish and go :top:

well there you go - but sadly the Super Grifter has to be sold, to fund my expensive habit of trying to live and pay bills

so it could be yours for £150 + £8 postage or collection in person is also welcome ;)

pm me

cheers B ;)

wow  That's just amazing, and what fantastic condition. Nice to see the padding on the cross bar, I lost count of how many teeth I would've lost if it wasn't for that, every time the gears slipped

picture No. 7 - (the first of the 2 shadow pics) would make a great avatar, too, IMO.

Nice

Have you got any more pics  no seriously thats one cool bike good luck with the sale mate, I used to have the smaller version as a young lad the Striker and was loads of fun was pretty much the bike I learned to ride on really and although all my mates had burners and I could afford one they all wanted a go on my stirker because of its pedal back brake for awesome skids lol

bendycat - this should be in the normal for sale section, I would put it in the MTB with a link to it in the BMX, it is a bike and a classic one after all.

not many folk look for bikes in the non bike section.

Fantastic - I used to have one that I found in a hedge and was brush painted white.... Classy.

Love the old lights as well! I used to have some like that on my chopper. Wish I still had that bike now :(
