I'm sure a few of you have seen a few pics of this before on here (bought from a member last year), but i thought I would post a few more.
All original, yes I have still got the Reaction tyres & that awful Champagne coloured seatpost in the loft.
I got my 1st one in about March/April 1989 (boy cameras have come a long way), that is the one in the 1st pic complete with Hite Rite, CatEye, toe clips/straps & Pink Sticky Fingers things. As I remember it was 699.99 from Langsett Cycles in Yorkshire.
Unfortunately it was stolen 18 months later never to be seen again :( . Therefore I couldn't pass up the opportunity to replace it (albeit a bit late) with this one. I can only class this as being Mint in both colour & condition, therfore dry weather only, and being like i am it will be like this in another 20yrs (sorry).

Yes it is prob/def too small, yes I have to leave it at my Mum & Dad's because my missus doesn't know I have got it and therefore only get to see it once a week, but I love it because it reminds me of my teenage riding years again... :D

Cheers...Nick

SORRY about those REDwall tyres

EDIT* - Bottom 2 pics show it wearing it's original seatpost & Reaction Tyres

Beautiful, and great shots. I think it's a size 18 and the one you had stolen was presumably a 20. They can be compared to the one in the catalogue which is a 19. I've never seen a picture of a 20 for sale, but you see a 19 occasionally (but rarely).

Thats bloody lovely. Always had a soft spot for those splatter Kona's and thats the best of the best. I like the tyres too although the nose of the saddle needs to come down just a fraction.

Fantastico!

Great looking bike. Shame that you only get to see it once a week.

I think the rear cable hanger would be better if you changed it to a standard Shimano one though, both in terms of function and looks.

erh that bike shop sticker cant be original, as it quotes the area code starting 01, dont think that appeared till alter in the 1990's

OMG what a honey!

All of it is great, vintage, brakes, shape, size, model, colour and paint. sweet

What size is it then 18"? a long seat post should sort ya unless you are really tall. :D

So is she ever gonna find out? and whans it going on a RetroBike ride?

stunning simply stunning please sell it to me now

and agree the shimano cable hanger would look neater.

and as I said sell her to me right this minute
