Karma KHS FXT - gone to a new home.

Finished! I dont spend a lot on bikes unless I'm really serious about the build, so tongue firmly in cheek, I set about the KHS with grim determination.

a donation from a kindly old Claud Butler gave me some Grimeca sealed bearing hubs on those daft Vuelta deep section rims.

Anyway, I wonder when this last turned a wheel?

Karma frame required lots of work to make good.

Tip find wheels

Karma LX cranks from ages ago.

Tip find STX-RC 8spd shifters, regreased and refurbished

LX mech from the tip, front from RB

Tip find Bombers, still holding air from the day I found them

Bars - Pickle

Odd & sods from my parts bin

The ride? Hmmm, back ends a bit slow over the bumps but it does seem to work. Bombers are short travel and seem intact.

After totting up I cant believe the total spent: less than £20

anyway, pics for now and more to come later :

That looks like a fun ride. I love my KHS, very underrated bikes IMO. Those Bombers were a very nice find!

For a bargain bike that is unbelievably good. Cable routing to the rear looks like little iffy but thats always a problem with full sus bikes.
