Looks good LGF.

The LF Campag wheels look nice on there, are they MA2? They look black :? Also I'd stick with bigger tyres to fill in the void of the mudguard.

Oh and the lovely Campag crank is Triomphe not Victory ;)

I was sold the cranks as 'Victory' - not bothered though as the do the job. those tires are tubs...  I'm being adventurous, so those guards will go to make way for some nice shiny ones.

I cant tell the difference!

Triomphe:

It is very slight but the crank arms on the Triomphe taper towards the chainrings where as the Victory is straight. Both beautiful imo one of my Campag favs...

Are you sticking with the tubs?! They can't be MA2's then GP4 maybe?

sorry - getting confused with wheel swaps, tubs are on GP4, 27" are MA2

the Miche wheels are so heavy, I'm gonna give the tubs a go this summer.

Very nice.. definately my fave' build so far.

Those mech's are sought after - I'm pretty sure Campag never actually produced a long cage Nuovo Record; they're always improvisations using Rally cages. Nicer looking than the Rally mech IMHO

having just acquired a short cage Nuovo, I'm flogging the long cage to fund something...

ah, verry interesting...... are you still looking for a Deerhead -fancy a swap?

oh yeah?

last Nouvo long cage went for quite a bit - about £88, even just the cages seem to fetch a bit.

PM a pic of the Deerhead mech and I'll have a little think overnight.

Looks really purposeful, heading anywhere specific on it, touring wise?
Next thing is a ride report ;)
