2008 GT [Caution: Modern & STW Content]

What's the deal with making the whole thing look wickedly stealth-like and then sticking white forks on it? :?
Spoils the whole look, if you ask me.

its crying out for some carbon Pace forks up front for the ultimate carbon stealth machine

May have to sell a kidney and get one :)
 
I have noticed a lot of these new bikes have the top tube and down tube joining before the head tube, and/or a large amount of material behind the head tube, at the same time the weight of these frames is nearing 1kg,
scott, specialized look the same

anyone know how they appear to be using more material, but lowering weight at the same time, or is it magic
