East Midlands Area chat and rides thread

Just below the word 'Head' in 'The Old Bulls Head' is a grey rectangle. I'm pretty sure that's the car-park. I'm also fairly certain it's signed 'cos there are public toilets, recycling bins etc.

Mat, what a brill idea re. Summer night rides. :D
 
Will the snow never cease...What an outstanding ride...Beacon Hill and the climb through the woods were real highlights...

Ed, I think we need to start a new 'You big show off' thread somewhere...

Hope you all got back safely, it was pretty hairy in places on the roads.

Very good, the bit that I did. It was even more frustrating knowing what I missed.
Standing on a trig point , zero visibility, in the snow, with a bike above your head....if your pupils could see you now :D
 
That was a great ride thanks John. you can not beat a ride like that good company, really bad wether, good beer, and a rugby tackle, oh and the gate, oh and seeing daddy long legs in a bush covered in snow. and a great drive away from the scene, trying to keep up with Rob....

If anyone wants a gentle warm up ride next tuesday how about the pines for just an hour or so?

After struggling up that last hill yesterday I think I need to exercise :shock: :?
