I bought these recently but have since had some new handbuilts done.
They are nearly 20 years old, done one ride, maybe two, but this is evident in the condition of the rims, virtually unscathed, still anodised, and the sprocket teeth are new and sharp. Hubs still spin up super smooth and free, but they are slightly aged cosmetically, although one quick rub of autoglym has put some shine on them.
However, the rims are super rare Mavic MA40 in CD finish, stickers all in place, and the original Shimano skewers are included.
They are 36 hole and come with a 6 speed 105 cassette (early Shimano freehub design) - all individual sprockets with the last one threaded (acts as the lockring). Again, same age and use as wheels, will check ratio's. 100/130 OLD.
I prefer to keep and build the rims as i can't find any in this condition, but happy to sell as follows:-
Complete wheelset as above £80
Hubs / Skewers / Cassette £25 or best offer before ebay.
