E-Stayed Warlord work-hack. Was riding to work on my '05 Kona Coiler, but the local job centre folk decided they would try and take it. Thankfully they failed! Surely they won't try and steal this! Haha.

My old Trek 930, with 2x9spd gearing consisting of a Deore front mech and shifter, an LX rear mech and shifter, Tiagra chain and cassette, Coda Tarantula chainset with 30t/42t TA rings, Avid Titanium V-Brakes with Deore levers. And custom Judys comprising an XC crown with New Old Stock stantions, WB cart and dummy leg, coil springs.

I like the Trek 930 with the forks.

Might go that way with my current winter/wet commuter, a 1997 Trek 970 with additional XT!

My trusty errand/commuting hack. Frame is a battered Orbita Estoril that was donated then a bargain / spares box build with lots of kind RB help... like the micro Gussett cog with 32 ring (gives me 70" gear). Handles well and super stable, loves being laden with shopping and random bike bits / trips to the chazza after our spring clear-out... just treated it to some Michelin World Tours since this pic (£12 - free post - for reflective pair on CRC!) so should be fine 'til next century now!

I ride this almost everyday; a good 12km round trip. It stays in the office due to the presence of an army of sticky fingered bike thieves in and around the place:
