Do you remember, we chatted about this on the Macc ride, although I might have imagined it due to altitude sickness!
If there is stuff you can sell me to get me going that would be great.
I need:
Rear mech...deore xt dx etc
Front mech - not sure of tube diameter though and no vernier gauge
Shifters - indexed thumbies or poss gripshift
I'll but a new rear cassette and chain and I have fairly new chainrings.
Get rumaging everyone

Not only does it confirm Rob as the ultimate Ticknall routemaster (been there, seen it, done it backwards) but also opens up an interesting spring/summer ride round Gotham which is pretty good for all of us I think re work etc.
What do you think?

Another puncture today :roll: but the new gear cables are working wonderfully.
You own Ticknall, I own the Pines. We are just very generous
I might scope out the East Leake ride come the spring for a group ride.
You are very motivated Rob, I just couldn't face a muddy ride on my own today although my garage has never looked better
