Wiltshire clay... simple as that... normal bike clogged up with feet of being on clay... Saracen Kiliflyer e-stay clogged up about twenty yards further on, but much easier to unclog because of the extra space...
And because of the really short chainstays, it climbs like a mountain goat... on that basis and the aesthetics of the whole package the Alpine Stars and Kiliflyers get my vote as spot-on, with the rest not far behind.
I think it's the estay look that's drawing me towards the likes of an Orange Five as a latter day upgrade for my Kili.
