Here is the built up frame. I re-riveted and glued the stops on the frame, with advice from the kindly retrobike crowd.

Atek rims and x-lite bars from the fine people of this forum.

Not one for the retro purists, but I'm very happy with it.

You should really try to get one of Rex's triple clamp rigid forks with Titanium legs if you can.

It had twin alloy crowns and stems, straight titanium bars and ran on Timken taper roller bearings.

Very special.
 
Thanks for the information.

I know that this a frame I'm going to keep for a long time. It's got so much life in it that it's a delight to ride. Relative to the Marin Team Ti that I had before I bought this frame it just feels like so much more fun to ride.
