Digging through some old photos last night I found a few old shots of my Alfa. These were taken 2 years ago during a photo shoot for one of Ulster Bank's advertising campaigns. It supposed to be in Ireland but was on the moors above Alnwick. Looks nice and sunny but it was in fact freezing- there were two assistants with thermal blankets just out of shot ready to pounce on the poor models as soon as frames were shot.
It finally went into the paint booth yesterday. Its been completely re-skined in lightweight alloy panels over the last year. Rebuild should comence next week. I'm going down to the machinists now to pick up the new cylinder head- every tweek possible has gone into it, topped off with a pair of custom profile hollow camshafts and CNC machined inlet tracts to really get it breathing. Should be back on the road for spring
