The intention was never to have a witch-hunt, I was simply hoping to provoke a discussion that would produce a few ground-rules before it does get out of hand - this it has done and a thank you John for more sterling work on our behalf.

It's true that I didn't appreciate the ass avatar but I wasn't offended by it, I just didn't see the need or the point really, as wu says, I'm not offended by coarse language (as any of you who have ridden with me will know), crude jokes or whatever but there's a time and a place.

For the record I think it's a bit odd to lust after some man/woman just because they happen to be on a bike or near one. I imagine if any of the ladies in that section stumbled across the thread they'd feel pretty uncomfortable despite the flattery.
I don't think it's necessary to have max-power style "porno-lite" at all - That said I'd hate to censor or upset anyone so if it's your thing you go for it - just please stick to the guidelines so as to give some of us the choice.

Thanks to everyone who's taken the time to get involved on both sides, I think it says wonders for the forum that we can have a thread like this without it descending into a slanging match as they so often do.
