Ritchey TimberComp 1985

Ductape

BoTM Winner
I picked up this B frame last fall. Ritchey's have always been my favorite bikes, and when I saw this TimberComp in my size with rollercam mounts front and rear, I couldn't pass it up. My goal is to put it together with a dirt drop setup.

Here are a few photo's taken after the initial breakdown. Things are still in pieces as I gather up the missing parts:

Suntour. Still need a good cleaning. I now have the missing parts

How would you have liked to see the salesroom floor while this bike sat on it back in 1985

Almost there, still have a few things to gather up.

Thanks for posting this up here, in addition to the your posts over in the VRC. I can follow it here easier...look forward to it. :D

Thanks,
RB forum is certainly better formatted for posting a build thread. The main factor holding up this build right now is an appropriate stem. I have a Nitto dirt drop but really have my heart set on a LD style stem.
If anyone out there has one they want to get rid of let me know.
Cheers,
T
