The quick way to making a presta your friend ?

I have got the bug again and rather than sell my Carlton have decided to enjoy it instead.

I have a bike pump, specific adapter for presta valves which are fitted.

Bikes I have in the past have always been Schraeder.

I am unlocking the the valve and pumping in air, but because of the way that they work ...it soon comes out again!!!!

I am sure practice will make persfect, but circa 100 lbs psi , I am having difficulty.

Is there a foolpoof technique to inflating tyres with presta valves someone would kindly share?

Thanks in advance

Thanks I bought a high volume hand pump from halfords and the respective adapter.

I am trying to get back into cycling on the cheap, I dont particularly want to start buying track pumps etc....and more to the point .....what happens when i get a punctur  e

Track pump with presta and schrader ends on for the man cave.

Small pump for out on the road. I use a Topeak Mountain Morph, brilliant! It's schrader specific though with a quick unscrew and screw back together hey Presta (see what I did there?) it'll fit presta.

Racing I don't bother. If I get a flat on a TT, sod it, I'll walk back.
