Sandy was based abbeyhill near meadowbank.
The shop across from the cameo (can't remember it's name either) sold a Proflex to my flat mate and I think they sold Kirk magnesium frames too.
I was there a lot, but EBC and Stockbridge became my main shops, with Sandy getting any wheel work. Nearly took a job with EBC in the early days.
 
Biketrax is the shop by the Cameo, bought a Brompton there once, a good shop for the slightly weirder elements of the world of cycling. They do trailers and folders, pashleys, lots of touring stuff, sometimes recumbents etc

And belt drive Treks! Don't fancy trying to get a new belt for one of those once history shows it as an evolutionary cul-de-sac. Great for stalkers I suppose...
