I'm very interested in the cranks but can't see the pics on my iPhone for some reason.... I'll confirm when I get to the office on the morning if that is ok.....

Doesn't that say Not Usable!? :?

cranks

yes - that what it says - stamped as such but I can assure that there perfectly usable, nice spider shape and only a little heaver than a dura ace 7700 set I have .. I had the same concern when i got them and presume that they were stamped as such because they were a prototype CDU. They came off a venom model by Sabre bikes in what appears to be team smarties colours .. as my post says they were on a very high spec frame which I'm rebuilding with 600 components, and I'm guessing from early 80s as i think the croc set came out about 84 .. i did try to do some research on the sabre venon and found a little bit .. but nothing on this bike ..

anyhow I appreciate the query but can you let me know if you after them as there's other interest

cranks

additional photos attached .. and a small note to reassure the parties who expressed interest prior to the comments above .. the cranks are fully usable... unlike apple products

Indeed what with having no moving parts and being made from whatever wonderful alloy campagnolo made them with its rather difficult to see what usability or functioning might foster the concerns above.. the images are clear as is my description and nothing is hidden

I have valued these at the price campanology valued them at based on the same supplied info as displayed here.. there is a specialist collectors market in japan for such things but I haven't the time or inclination to explore it and simply want to sell the cranks at a reasonable price to progress a project ..I can confidently say that there are absolutely no "useabilty"problems with these and if you are unhappy with them on receipt or use I will gladly refund. I have been mainly as a purchaser on this forum but have also sold items here and have a 100% e-bay. please feel free to inquire if you want details. Finally a small note to the eagle eyed naysayers - "well spotted sir" clearly no flies on you..

regards

PJ !

Thank you for clearing that up, they are clearly very pretty and completely safe cranks that have been used at a high level, perhaps low volume pro only issues or the like. I would however like to appologise and withdraw my interest, simply due to the fact that I was planning a change of use for my 600 equipped Harry Hall, on which these would have been utilised. I have now decided to take another direction. My appology relates to the fact that I took longer than I should have to let you know if I was going to have them, not that I queried the misleading text on the cranks which I think was justified. ;)

accepted fella .. not anticipating a great difficulty in selling but concerns are perhaps best raised privately with a seller lest others might misunderstand

best of luck with your H Hall and regards

For information: Three interested parties in the cranks earlier today now not responding - I also just picked up on comment re misleading text and the resultant lack of funds caused me not to bid on a pair of open pro rims on e-bay earlier tonight. Incredibility frustrating and I can't but advocate that members consider others more. Sorry but that my experience.
