Burn brightly and then fade away, the lot of many of the retro brands....
 
For me there has to be a line drawn between admiration and nostalgia and the monica of 'cool'. Yes there are some very nice models but as someone said earlier say the word Marin and does it immediately make you think WOW :cool: .......? Well for me ...errr no i'm afraid not.

When I see Marins now I rate them alongside the hydroformed poop that is Trek & Giant...seriously uninspiring
 
This is tough.

Old Marins I liked (1990-1993) but anything after just seemed a little undesirable.

I really dont know which way to vote. :?
