Sorry, a bit of a "how much is it worth?" post
A friend has a DOGS BOLX that he is considering selling. He'd muttered about £500 but having seen it today I reckon £125-150 might be nearer the mark.
Spec is as follows:
18" frame, no decals, re-enamelled a rather nasty blue, a couple of superficial rust spots but structurally sound (and is defo a DOGS BOLX)
Pace RC35 forks, still plush
Wheels are Mavic 231s on XT, still true and smooth although rims have quite a bit of wear
Components are a mix of STX, LX and XT
Overall it is tatty and could do with a really good clean but all bearings are smooth and play free as are the forks.
I appreciate that he'd get more by splitting but he only wants to sell the whole bike (or not). Any comments?
