Yeah, so, they were cool bitd, but few think so anymore. As stated, definitely a form over function type of part.

Yeah, not only not work safe but wrong in the extreme. Have removed the pic but sure Pete can send it you via PM if you like....
 
Uncool for me as I've never seen a bike that they improve the look of. Remind me of mag wheels on a BMX. Cool on a BMX, not on a MTB imo. ;)
