Wanted: Nice Light Inner tubes!

JS1500

Senior Retro Guru
I'm after some lightweight tubes for the almost ready Vit T2.
Thought i'd try here before eBay or the LBS.
Conti lites or Air-Bs would be nice but anything considered.
Cheers :!:

Cheers gump, 100g is even lighter than I was thinking :!:

£10 though, i'll see if I can stretch to that...

Buy a DIY tubeless kit.

Convert your existing rims/tyres to tubeless and save even more weight :)

About £15 per wheel and no more innertubes to buy... ever.

The contis are cheaper here..

and here..

depending whether you pay postage/spend more than £50 at the mo, just linked CRC as it was handy.

Also remove your rimtape and use leccy tape for the extra 20g :)

Russ, keep thinking of trying tubeless, but when you factor in the weight of goo and rimstrip needed, even with std tyres the savings not great, and everywhere I read it looks a total faff.
Have you tried?

If you use UST tyres there seems to be no weight saving either.. :?

Sorry to hijack your thread but.... I had latex tubes back in the day- do these modern featherweight jobbies leak air eventually like those did? I had to inflate them every fortnight, can't really be bothered with that these days! :D

Nope, not tried it, for the same reasons as you :) Might try it on the Zas to see if it works and what the savings actually are.

hey street, notice no diff in air loss than std tubes- fine!!
or in puncture resistance tbh, as most punctues I get are thorns, and the size of these things would go through a DH tube...
