1996 Marin Pine mountain (with many shiney bits!)

Built this one for a friend, found a guy on ebay who'd bought the original bike back in '96 riden it home put it in his garage and left it there so got it off him in mint contdition used the other parts to re build a team marin which had the same spec list and using a few other cool NOS bits made this little beauty:

As the frame was a blue-ish grey I stuck with Blue grey and polished parts I did use a few modern parts such as the tyres but I just though they set it off well.

I really like this. Well done, a nice build.

I think a Flite saddle would finish it off perfectly.
 
I'm with you there bud I was actually looking for one but I couldn't find a good enough one at the time.

The best of it's breed in my mind and the 96 colour scheme was spot on.

My first 'brand new' mountain bike was a 96 Pine with a pair of amp F3's.





memoriieeees like corners of my mind.............. :D
 
Superb!! Some tasty kit on there ! Just change the saddle for perfection. These are a brilliant ride aswell :D
