Alconbury Midnight Growlers

biggest problem I found was that the body and energy levels were fine...

Lungs? no no. the cold easterly damp wind really put the mockers on it. nasty asthma attack- took me about half an hour before I could breathe 'normally' again.

no fun...

Right an update for the 'Midnight Growlers' bimble:

Not a chance... The weather means my nice route is both flooded and iced over, most likely until late February.

There is a 10 - 15 mile route involving Grafham which I'll look into.

I need to get up and around Grafham again, it's been a while. I'd usually head up through the fields from the Hail Weston ford, comes out near 'Iron Man II'. Post-viral fatigue sucks hard :( Can do a few hours of good riding but will pay for it in a few days hardcore above and beyond what it should, and the lymph node pain increases for the week after i push myself.

:) another rider from St Neots yay!

I've not managed to go that way since the new year, stupidly did 4 mornings in a row and made myself poorly again. A bit of a vicious cycle for me, finally felt good and went and overdid it!

Yeah i'm from St Neots!

Last time I went that way to Grafham it was over the Christmas holidays. I cycle everyday to work anyway (9 miles) so I'm always on my bike.

Perfect weather today to get out on the bikes!

Hopefully you are feeling better now though.
