About this 'Period Correct' thing.

Did anyone BITD ever keep their bike exactly as bought new anyhow?
I certainly didn't.
Things wear out or break. Sometimes bikes were sold with a few inferior parts to bring them in to a particular price catagory - most folk upgraded these parts (usually with more recent parts).

Let's not make the retrobike scene like the concourse car scene!
More like the retro car scene :!:

I voted for the Steve Potts, its immaculate but still has a lot of soul. Yeah it looks a bit odd, not your standard MTB but its like the missing link, its a great example of how MTB's developed. I love it.

Thanks :)

Defenately the RC100... best looking bike I have seen in here so far (well, since my Rascal isn't done yet hehehe), awesome colour scheme and nice Mavic parts. I just love it how the "fork-headset-stem-handlebar" setup is done.

Void(EN12-82) :D

I'm pretty sure i'll vote for the RC100, leaving it 'til the end of the month to vote though.

Love it love it love it!
Does make me a bit gutted I didn't bid higher on it though!

The drag bars are an idea worth stealing... ;)

Guess your all bored of Trimbles now?

sniff.

It is built now. Its covered with all high end stuff.

However, it seems I peaked too soon on the picture leak....

(story of my life...sniff!)
