£175 Seatpost!

Actually I bid for that but didn't win. It would have been lovely in my upcoming Adroit... But it's only a Kalloy post with a Klein logo in it. Does anybody know what Kalloy model that is ?
 
No idea of model of post, Kalloy posts are pretty generic anyhow! Reckon this guy must be an eccentric millionaire or something...Makes me want to tippex a Klein logo onto one of my crappy old kalloy posts and PM him :)
 
Well it looks like the buyer just had to have that seat pin. No matter what :shock:
I know that feeling when i've come across some hot retro kit. But it looks a bit to much for that not so hot pin
 
Sorry for bieng a dum-dum, but are we talking about someone passing off a Kalloy seatpost as a Klein item? Or is it that Klein used kalloy posts in their range but with their logo on it?
If its the former, i'd be pretty miffed!
 
Yep it is a Klein item. I had a new one in 92. Paid I think £60 it was polished more and had some weight saving done to it.
