Bontrager Race Lite - NEW PHOTOS!

I've not actually put any effort in yet, I'm still concerned that the front mech I have for it is a bit small...... Can anyone clarify what size this should have? Also, she's about to get a few new parts.......... ;)

That's what I was thinking. I'm pretty sure my Race is 95 and that has two piece stays.

Damn nice bike though, whatever year it is. :cool:
 
My only reason for doubting its a 95 is that the standard fit judys had the one piece lowers of 96 judys and not the bolt on crown of 95 ones....... either way its light and beautifully made so i'm happy! I am told that the race lights sold after the take over were bontrager built unlike the privateer/privateer comp.
 
I find bontrager the 90's make to have the most attractive paint schemes across the production years or models

elegant and never dull at the same time

this model is a perfect example :cool:
 
Thanks guys, I've always wanted one in this colour, or in the dark blue colour that they did one year..... can anyone suggest any suitable cranks for this? I was going to go for M738 XT's, but they seem rare and go for a lot of cash in good nick........
