That's a nice wee thing  , great job with the stripping, will be great in yellow.

Not sure about the crank length, technicaly 175 is probably too long for a 24" wheel bike (ground clearance ?), and a 9 Y/O but single speeds generaly do benefit from longer cranks for the leverage, dont think that'll theory will apply here though, may be better looking for 165's

"Beer holder stem" WTF dude

More like what sort of crank length for your neice. Short, 165 probably the 'easiest' to get hold of, probably a road/track one though you do occasionaly see MTB ones in this length. I certainly wouldn't go for longer than 170. You can always start with your long crank and have it shortened, there are quite a few engineering firms that offer the mod, even a few members here that have posted offers to do it.

I hope it is a 1 inch! Once it comes back from paint I will check it out.

Nick do they sometimes have smaller stems on little bikes ...

I am actually thinking of 150's for the cranks would this be too short?

Leverage is all good for me and my singlespeed specific legs but I do not want her too screw her knees up!

On Friday I received an sms telling me that the paint is complete.

I hope to get to the workshop Monday morning to press the headset in and pick it up. Tuesday at the latest photo's to come.
