Hi I am new here,

I have a 2004 Klein attitude, how long do I have to wait until my bike is considered retro ?

I'm pretty new here as well but have been a mtb enthusiast since 1988 (pretty much since the beginning of really decent commercialized mountain bikes I suppose). If I was to hazard a guess to your question, I'd say 12 years seems to be a magic number at this point. Anything older than 1995 seems pretty cool and vintage while anything between 5 and 12 years old just seems to be "used".

Anyhow, that's just my take on things.

You don't have to have a retro bike to join this forum so no worries there..

Just don't be surprised if in 6 months time you've managed to collect every generation of the Attitude there ever was, and burned thousands of pounds in the process trying to reach Retro Nirvana.. ;)

Welcome to the Forum.. :D
