96 Kona Kula my dream bike is finally mine!

Congratulations!

I love that colour.
The component mix seems just right! Although I would mount a shiny black metal seatpost.

I own a '96 Cinder Cone, but I would rather have it inyour colour :)

Nice!

Looks like the frame has some kind of hose guide halfway down the TT?

Yeah the frame is designed for magura hydralic rim brakes so it has the hose guides. I just run the V brake cabling through it and it has a little black clip on the top to stop the cabling bashing the TT

if you dont want to run the cabeling through the cable guides any longer you can use this little parts as cable stops

Where did you find those clever little things Magas?

Well done, I far prefer your build to the SID version. Plenty of black, just what that frame needs.

+1 It was a great contrast . Would look awesome if you made the background black and white in photoshop .

They just look like caliper brake cable adjusters to me .

when I changed from Maguras to Vs BITD my bikeshop fitted them - they told me thats standard parts for use on road racing bikes shifting cables
