'96 fillet brazed GT edge- drool-worthy $2kobo

Spooky Engineer RD has an unhealthy love for mid-late 90's GT's. I do too.

He scrounged this frame from one of our mutual race support buddies who had had it in a garage since '98 and was planing on giving it to me to seal our bromance. Unfortunately, it's too big for me by a scooch, and too big for him. 100% of the proceeds of this machine are going toward buying us a new lathe, so do yer damned part!

Paralell 74 60cm c-t 54.5 c-c ST, 55cm TT
410 chainstays, 13.5 headtube... higher bb than normal.... Grrreat crit bike, and the excel tubeset is both light and wonderfully springy.

Wacky numbers for a road bike, but this bike was built for one of the Atlanta olympic trackies as a road bike... Yamaguchi built. (Most likely for Carney)

Fork is a kinesis aluminum, 44 rake. (this bike is rather unstable... but in a VERY fun way!)

This was someones training bike for a season, and then became a roof bike for 2 seasons on the Shaklee team, so there are some paint scuffs...
That beautiful blue paint still makes me have unpure thoughts though...

Slightly flexible on the price, but 7700 is getting harder to find... and a Yama-built Excel tubed 1996 race bike, well, shit, it doesn't get much better. Especially when you buy something that our man RD has built. At the tender age of 25 he has wrenched on more world-cup winning MTB's than anyone working today except maybe Doug Hatfield. A PRO build it most certainly is...

Thanks for looking. And please, make it go away. It's so pretty it keeps me up at night...
