show us your Rocky Mountains!

.

The seatstays were damaged and bent when I first got it. I straightened them the best I could, but I think all the fettling has made the metal fragile. I don't really trust it any more, I might try and find a frame with some good stays and a damaged front and do the repair properly. It will probably end up hanging in the roof of the shed though :(
Shame it rides lovely and fits me perfectly. I've had 18 months use out of what was supposed to be a knackered frame so its not all bad ;)

This seems like a perfect opportunity to throw up some pictures of my recently acquired Rocky Mountain Ritchey, this is a 1986 lugged Ritchey built in Japan and sold through RM dealers in Canada, probably one of the rarest Rockies out there.

My MODERN RM Vertex. Love the ride! Has had a few upgrades since this picture was taken. Now has Easton EA70 stem and seatpost to match the bars, Easton carbon bar ends and Easton XC One wheels. A future classic.
