Nice

Looks great
Lucky man to get the original parts with it, makes it a bit easier to put it back if thats what you want.
Looks like its been well cared for.
Dont know what you paid but regardless, I think its a good buy.
Keep the pics coming.

koga

i bought the frame through here..

i was not sure if the wheels were original but the cassette and hubs are so i presume the rims are correct, but they are rigida, i did not expect them on this bike..

A couple of years ago, when I were a student, the guy in the apartment next to me had the exact same bike. He was not in vintage bikes at all, but he simply didn't saw the point of 'upgrading' to a modernish bike. I very wel remember his rant when he found out shops are no longer stocking proper shoes for use with toe clips.

I regularly ride on a decade younger GentsRacer. It is the same concept (comfort racer), but different execution (carbon bonded to al lugs)

koga miyata now complete

added some more pics ..everything is serviced and clean now..only one problem not sure about the wheels..they are rigida alloy rims with maillard hubs the cassette is definitely suntour factory spec and the quick releases are also shimano factory stock. so i am thinking that maybe the wheels have been switched as everything else is shimano 600..

I tend to like this mech better than the 600EX Arabesque

No, the wheels are no std spec. All catalogues present on the Koga site. With some catalogues the specsheet is enclosed and you can verify full specs.
