Just been trying to identify this puppy. I am currently restoring it. Frame is at Argos and the cranks are being chromed. Someone has suggested it might be a Gillot or a Rotrax.

I am still getting responses from the Classic Rendezvous group.

nice job on the setapost, did you paint the top and cradles? campoldy sell the top bolts for them individually i changed mine and it really made a difference

what colour are you going for ?
 
Going for a classic black with gold round the lugs. Would love some chrome on the frame but its just too expensive.

Will get some pics up once the frame is back which should be the end of the month.
 
Is that a 40-spoker out back? Look after it if it is, can be damn hard to find another one!
 
Yeah the wraparound seatstays look very claud butlerish to me. What's the frame number?

really? lucky i've got a spare 40-spoke rim on an anodised bh airlite hub then…
