whats the rear cable in the hub for ? Is is switchable ?...Yes
I think it was more an experience for ingenieurs

Reminds me very much of the Christini AWD bike which has shafts and not belts. They didn't ride to badly although its hard to get used to climbing technical climbs out of the saddle and relying on the front wheel for traction as well as the rear.
