Sunrace freewheels

Sounds like im in the same boat. Im after a cheap screw on 7 speed freewheel but was looking at the Suntour version.

Dont suppose anyone knows if its possible to get them down to 12 tooth?

SJS have the suntour one on their website. Anyone else know of any other good suppliers?

You won't get 12 tooth as there isn't space inside for the remover.

There were a few 13T ones around, but the overhanging 13T cog created a water trap which rusts out the bearings. They weren't a great idea and are very rare now. As a result, the smallest you can commonly find are 14T.

Usually the best places to try are cycle jumbles these days.

Funny i was thinking about the same question today. I thought maybe the Sun Race would be lighter then the Shimano HG-37 but amazon.de says they both have exact the same weight - 998gr.
I did a full Google research and all i could find was one lousy comment that the Sun Race wasn't anything near the comfort of the Shimano but without any justification.
So i'm in the same situation..i don't know what to buy.
I like the look of the Sun Race with the drilled holes. But of course the comfort would be the substantial argument.
Here are the german amazon links for both free wheels:
Sun Race - http://www.amazon.de/Race-Schraubkr...sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=sports&qid=1255974621&sr=8-2
Shimano HG-37 - http://www.amazon.de/Shimano-Schrau...sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=sports&qid=1255974912&sr=8-4
So where is the right expert with the experience of 1000 different free wheels :?:

I'll have a hardly used Sachs one when I finally fit something a little bigger. My Sachs is 21 max.
