ps, CRC doing 4 pairs of Clarks pad for £9 inc P&P right now - worth stockpiling surely?
job done!
used an awesome bolt extractor to get the stuck crank bolt out, only to fing the threads had gone on the crank itself so cut it off with a hacksaw.
i have manages to get the chain sufficiently tight using a half link and the chain line is spot on.
tyres are schwable city jets for now. the worm drives will probably go back on to compliment the budget nature of the build.
rode it to work this morning and apart from the pretty crappy plastic brakes it feels fine
