Update - 13th October

As the RS8 chainset works better with a 9 speed chain I've swapped to a 9 speed set-up. It's now 2x9 instead of 2x8!

It meant swapping the X-rays for a set of LX 9spd I had, shame as I quite liked them and their lightweight!

The XTR 8spd cassette has been swapped for another but of the 9spd variety.

I've also added a crud-catcher and Bonty Mud X tyres for the winter :D

Whilst doing all of the above, I took the time to but some 3M clear protective tape in 'rub' areas. Its such anice example of the KK I've got to try and keep it that way ;) I also used 'heat-shrink' to cover the cable ends of the gear and brake cable instead of the alloy end caps.

A few (more) pics...

Shifters and Syncros grips...

Cable runs between frame and CrudCatcher no problem, 3M tape under and round down tube to prevent rub!...

Bonty Mud X, good tyres!...
