The Moots stem is not cracked, not sure what that line is. Didn't even see it til you pointed it out! I now have put one spacer above the stem and flipped it over to put me in a more aggressive position. Not used to having 100mm forks and I felt like I was riding to high up.

With a 32 x 11 I can go decently fast. The trails I ride don't have a lot of open space to hammer fast on. There is so much technical riding with rocks and logs that I'm Lucky to hit a long enough downhill to use my top gear. I have a larger front chainring to use if I find it to easy.

Atom rides in the exact same area we originally designed the Darkside for back in '92. People used to make fun of us for riding rise bars...
